Although the site is relatively new, we have been collecting data for years.  Upon having our first child, we quickly ran out of obvious things to do on the weekend.  We turned to two things: the internet and those magazines that we find in coffee shops or whatever.  There were two problems:

1. Information was either inaccurate or wildly outdated and/or...

2. Advertising was rampant.  It was not only annoying to stumble upon web pages with 54 ads per page, but most importantly it made it very difficult to discern which listings we 'real' and which ones where there because they paid the site owner a few bucks.

Creating web pages is our hobby, so while it was a lot of work to get this guy running, we are happy with what we ended up with.  Expect to see a lot of development in the upcoming months.
